If God’s word is your scripture, why do you break his rule?
Revelation 22:18–19: “For I testify to everyone who hears the words of prophecy of this book: If anyone adds to these things, God will add him the plagues that are written in this book. And if anyone takes away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part from the book of life, from the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.”
You break it because problems arise if follow it. You’d be a ‘fundamentalist’ which often leads to terrorism. You’d be immoral.
To prevent this, you need to edit the Bible and discard what is moral to your God, then add secular morals you deem religious.
Take the Bible at full value, or leave it all.
Please, leave it all, and realize it’s just ancient ideas of what a god should be, and includes his ignorance of nature.
It’s time to grow up.
